Delphi
Delphi is the best tool, bar none, for developing Windows applications. It now also
sports a sister compiler for Linux! So with the same codebase you can produce applications for both
platforms.
- Borland: Delphi
- As stated above, a terrific tool. Unfortunately, Borland has managed to keep it well hidden, and is
actively alienating its devoted users with its punitive pricing strategy. In spite of the marketing blunders,
Delphi solidly remains the best tool for the job for an impressive array of tasks.
- efg's Web Sites
- A great site with an enormous repository of Delphi information and code. Especially good
for graphics information and techniques.
- The Unofficial Newsletter of Delphi Users
- Lots of terrific articles and code!
- Project JEDI
- Open source component library, and Delphi versions of various API's.
- GExperts
- Originally developed by Gerald Nunn, and now maintained and extended by Erik Berry, this is the
must have IDE add-on for all Delphi developers. Free, to boot!
